Creative process
Every track follows roughly the same path — from the spark of an idea to the finished sound. Here it is, roughly, in my own words.
It all starts with an idea. Sometimes the words are already there in my mind; sometimes the melody comes first and the lyrics follow later.
I sit down at the synth and open the workstation (DAW). That's where it all begins.
I start playing and recording. The track slowly takes shape, note by note.
Layers build up: many different instruments in the form of plugins, each bringing its own colour.
At some point a possible vocal recording, then mixing and mastering. These days I sometimes let AI make a remix of my own track.
